Lexington Mid Century Laundry/Mudroom Redesign (***2 Options)
This Lexington client was struggling with what to do with her open mudroom/laundry space and just couldn’t shake the feeling that it just wasn’t right.
We worked with her to develop photo renderings to better flesh out two of her many ideas for space to help her feel confident in moving forward with her investment in how to best utlize the space to meet her needs. In the first option, we leaned in to the Mid Century style of her home with a bold wallpaper, we added more closed storage functionality by adding doors to her existing open cubbies, and added a central island to be used for folding laundry or potting plants next to her sink area. In the second option we relocated the mudroom area and added separation to the space with a dividing wall, we sourced an island option that could function more as a art and crafts area for her daughter and created a peg wall display with shelves to create a display area for all of her daughters paintings and pottery.
