South End Brownstone Furnishings

A thoughtfully layered furnishing and styling project for a historic South End brownstone, designed in tandem with a larger architectural renovation to create a home that would feel complete, comfortable, and personal from the moment construction wrapped.

While Amy Lynn Interiors and Stack & Co. led the architectural renovation and construction, our work focused on the furnishings and decorative layers throughout the home. Because both efforts were happening in tandem, we were able to plan furniture, rugs, decorative lighting, art, mirrors, and accessories alongside the renovation timeline — helping the client move into a home that felt finished and considered as soon as construction was complete.

Throughout the design process, we focused on scale, function, circulation, and the relationship between the new architectural details and the furnishings that would ultimately bring the rooms to life. Each selection was made to complement the evolving renovation while adding warmth, personality, and a relaxed sense of comfort.

Thoughtful procurement and installation planning were also an important part of the process, allowing us to coordinate deliveries and final styling so the transition from active construction to a fully furnished home could happen as smoothly as possible.

The finished spaces balance the elegance of the brownstone with an approachable, lived-in quality — layering tailored furnishings, rich texture, color, and personal details into a beautifully renovated architectural framework.
